Personality: Trowa generally comes across to people as a very serious boy, as he is quiet, calm, thoughtful, shy, and focused. He hides his true emotions unless around people he knows and trusts to a degree, or something around him affects him strongly. He rarely makes himself noticeable by those around him, preferring to go with the crowd and draw as little attention as possible to himself. He knows how to blend in, as well as how to physically disappear, occasionally by darting into shadows, or contorting himself into odd positions to squeeze himself into odd places, going as far as jumping upward to find an unusual hiding place.

Brief History in Canon He was born with the name Triton Bloom and had a sister named Catherine Bloom. His family was part of a traveling circus, attempting to escape a battle zone when their wagon was blown up. The parents were killed but Catherine survived and was picked up by the rest of the circus troop, while Triton was lost, only to become Trowa, who was then raised and trained by mercenaries. When he left the mercenaries, he became a mechanic and worked on Heavy Arms, later having the opportunity to pilot the Gundam, and take its pilot’s name, as no one had given him a new name before then, just calling him No Name. He then fought in the year long war between the Colonies and Earth, taking orders from the colonies. He would often infiltrate the enemy’s ranks to cause more damage to them to complete his mission. Ironically, in between missions, Trowa would travel with a circus as a clown for the knife thrower, Catherine Bloom. After the Colonies won the war and peace broke out, for a year, the Gundams were needed again, and Trowa fought once again.

Background (AU!Canon; HP): His father was a wizard who never told his muggle wife. They were part of a gypsy caravan, traveling around Europe when they were caught in a border skirmish when the young boy was almost two. The wizard was caught unprepared and everyone in the wagon, except Triton Bloom and older sister Catherine, were killed. The young boy was found injured with a large burn mark on his back, and amnesia by mercenaries. They decided he might be useful, so they gave him the name Trowa Barton, raising and teaching him their ways until he was about nine, when he was told to help disable a certain ship, which later turned out to be part of a fleet of salvage ships based out of London, England. Unfortunately, or fortunately, he was caught by some of the sailors. The captain decided to put him to work, rather than harm the young boy, and Trowa swiftly found he preferred working for them.

As he had amnesia, he had no memory of his sister, so he did not search for her. He had spent much of his life in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and picked up several different languages before he learned English. When he had been on the ship for about a year, a boy his age by the name of Duo Maxwell snuck on board and was swiftly inducted to the crew. They became friends, despite their differences of personalities, each hiding the fact they were just a little different from normal kids. At least until they both received strange letters written on ancient parchment. What was even stranger was how they received these letters. They came by owl.
